Product Description
The EXT-BT-1204 Haptic Round Button is a piezo button integration built around TDK's innovative PowerHap 1204 piezoelectric actuator technology and designed for seamless use with the BOS1921-Kit piezo driver. This premium tactile interface delivers crisp, customizable haptic sensations with up to 35μm displacement and 4.5g acceleration, making it a great demonstration platform for high-definition haptic experiences.
The EXT-BT-1204 features a mechanical design with an integrated pivot plate mechanism that provides 2:1 mechanical amplification of the haptic effect. The calibrated 15g moving mass ensures optimal force transmission while maximizing the haptic feedback from the PowerHap 1204 actuator. The round button form factor showcases how piezo haptics can be effectively implemented in a familiar interface design.
The Haptic Round Button comes pre-configured with optimal settings for the BOS1921-Kit driver, showcasing the full capabilities of the piezo controller including energy-efficient operation, precise force sensing, and advanced waveform synthesis. Users can easily modify the haptic experience through the Boréas Haptic Studio software, adjusting parameters such as frequency, amplitude, and waveform shape to create everything from sharp, precise "clicks" to sustained "buzzing" sensations.
