Robert D. LeFort

Robert (Bob) LeFort holds an MBA from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science for Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

LeFort started his career at Analog Devices in Product Marketing in 1983. In 1994, he moved to Delphi Corporation, a Tier One automotive electronics supplier.  LeFort joined Infineon Technologies in 2000 and was appointed as President of Infineon Technologies North America in June 2002.

In April 2006, he joined Ember Corporation as President and CEO and joined Silicon Labs in July 2012, when the company acquired Ember.

LeFort returned to Infineon in April 2013 as Corporate Vice President Strategy and M&A based in Munich, Germany.  In January 2015, upon the successful acquisition of International Rectifier, Bob was appointed President, Infineon Technologies Americas Corporation, which is headquartered in California.

He retired from Infineon in July 2023 and now consults with leaders in the semiconductor industry.
